aboutMe( )

I am a computer science graduate with experience in product ownership for almost 2 years. While working with technology teams, I worked with various software applications and discovered my passion for development, which led me to start revising my skills and exploring different technologies. I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of JavaScript and its inner workings, which led me to explore the language and work hard to improve my skills. Although I initially found it challenging, I am continuously learning and exploring the language. I then moved on to learn Angular "reach out to know the reason πŸ˜‰" and am now in the process of reviewing data structures and algorithms.

In addition to my technical skills, I also have experience in Power BI and a little bit of project management. I possess knowledge of UX design principles and processes and have excellent communication skills.

I believe in continuous learning and self-discovery. I never hesitate to admit when I do not know something, as I am always willing to learn and discover. I am passionate about development and aspire to make a positive impact on the world through my work.

Feb 2022 - Present

Product Owner at Sia Edu

Hint (hot topics are mentioned at the end).
Let's start from the beginning, I do the following
  • Roadmaps for each and every feature (e.g. the whole product, gamification, …etc.)
  • Conduct market researches
  • User flows (I do prefer it personally a lot easier for tracking)
  • Lo-Fi/Hi-Fi wireframes (when needed as you get what you see)
  • User stories mapping and user stories (of course no need to mention acceptance criteria and the related work to user stories)
  • Now let's refine and validate what've been done wit business and Tech team
  • Let's meet and greet the UX team and introduce features and key problems we should be solving.
  • Sprints planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Acted as a scrum master somedays (for facilitation purposes and removing blockers)
  • Let's revise the data and get the insights to refine features
Now the cool stuff and spicy things that makes me special πŸ˜‰
  • creating reports with Power BI (to get insights from what we did above)
  • Hi-Fi wireframes (user usable and ready for development)
  • Created process for any further feature requests or improvements (let's be more transparent)
  • Some frontend work when needed
  • Let's be more agile and stop the process when needed and convince the team as well (IT'S A MINDSET)
Proud of (what is done and still working on):
  1. Payments
  2. Question bank
  3. easing user editing his data
  4. Courses for Gen alpha
  5. Gamification
  6. more and more
May 2021 - Mar 2022

Product Owner at MINDEAVORS Int.

Worked on four products:
  1. Confidential (Saudi bankruptcy system which I received unfinished work with no documentation from their product owner and started working on understanding the business, clarifying flows, and refining stories so that our development team pace become faster and we can deliver the best MVP in no time)
  2. Indexcel (One of its kind referral system that is used to refer to courses that are hosted in another platforms either online or offline – My role was to develop stories so that it meets the new requirements and to create new ones because we wanted to create a (revamp) better UX for users).
  3. QueueN - (A queuing system that is used to give any user a turn in a queue and to notify him when his turn comes – my role was to create the flow, create Lo-fi wire-frames, and create stories for the development).
  4. Tatweer (Learning management system where admin can upload courses’ videos so that users can buy them and start learning – my role was to create the flow, create wireframes for the back-office and of course I created the best stories I have ever created)
My duties
  • I’m the node of contact between the team and stakeholders.
  • Defined product features according to customer needs and managed product backlog based on it.
  • Did some Benchmarking analysis and Scope of work documents so that we can be focused on our goal.
  • Created Lo-Fi wire-frames for new products.
  • Lead/Planed the development process to deliver releases in time.
  • Identified areas of improvement and presented new ideas to stakeholders.
